Please approve Bill 24 as it is written. It contains a balance between providing connectivity for the community and protection from tower/antenna encroachment. For example, telecom facilities -including police, fire and ambulance -are exempt from requirements. At the same time a 600 foot setback from residences and schools is provided. A good balance that protects public health, safety and welfare. Without this proposed ordinance we have nothing. It's the wild west of wireless. We need the protections it provides. Please approve Bill 24 as -is. I am almost 80 years old, a fifty year resident of Maui. My son and grandchildren live on the Big Island of Hawaii.
