Subject: Supporting the Food Security Amendment for HI County
Aloha a Hawaii County Council Members
our 40% of our county residents face food insecurity and yet, we are the Mokupuni with the best
resources to grow our own food!
This dissonant and contradictory fact points towards needing to act differently.
We must promote farming (including ocean farming) and growing food for each other as the most
noblest activities one can commit to.
Mahalo for your consideration to include this amendment.
