Aloha,
I have reviewed Communication 326 and believe this should be the path forward
to review the Hawaii County General Plan update. Mayor Alameda has stated
he intends to pause work on this document review. He made this decision after meeting
with a small group of individuals, who believe the Lahaina wildfires were caused
by space based lasers. The Mayor's decision only legitimizes these conspiracy
theorists concerns.
These individuals, in addition to the overall community, will have ample opportunity
to vet the general plan updates over the next several months under the plan outlined
by Communication 326.
