No. 349 <br />Your Committee on Governmental Operations and External Affairs, to which was referred <br />Communication No. 349, reports as follows: <br />Communication No. 349, transmitted by Mayor C. Kimo Alameda, dated May 29, 2025, <br />requests the Council's review and confirmation of the nomination of Taylor Spurgeon to the <br />Ka`u Community Development Plan Action Committee. <br />Executive Assistant to the Mayor Micah Alameda was present in the Kona Chambers to <br />introduce Mr. Spurgeon, who was also present via remote technology, to the Committee. <br />Michelle Galimba asked Mr. Spurgeon if he had attended any recent meetings of the Ka`u <br />Community Development Plan Action Committee. He said that yes, he had been at the last one <br />and believes that he will have a positive impact on the Committee.
