SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 185-25, Draft 2; A Resolution Authorizing the
Continued Employment of Leong Kunihiro Brooke & Kim, as Special Counsel to
Represent the County of Hawaii, Department of Human Resources, Workers'
Compensation Division.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 185-25, Draft 2. Resolution No. 185-25 was amended
with the contents of Communication No. 297.1, as duly approved by the Council during its
meeting on June 18, 2025.
The Council then suspended Rule No. 23-1(d) and adopted Resolution No. 185-25, as amended
to Draft 2.
