SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 197-25, Draft 2; A Resolution Accepting the
Dedication of Roadway Lot 8, Identified as TMK No. (3) 3-5-008:009,
Situated on the Northerly Side of Hawaii Belt Road and on the Southerly
Side of the Old Mamalahoa Highway, at Papa`aloa, North Hilo, Island and
County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii from Hdmakua Housing Corporation.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 197-25, Draft 2. During its meeting on June 18, 2025,
the Council amended Resolution No. 197-25 with the contents of Communication No. 314.1,
resulting in the attached draft.
The Council voted to suspend Rule No. 23-1(d) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of
the Council, which requires the holdover of a substantively amended resolution on final reading,
and adopted Resolution No. 197-25, as amended to Draft 2.
