I Oppose BILL47.
It is a bad bill, at a bad time, and we have bad results
The council approved waiting until the economic impact study has been completed and presented to the council. This is
a betrayal of that trust.
The fines are draconian, and will be a disaster for many people.
The costs are too great and will discourage many people from registering. One can register with the state for a one time
fee, which I believe was five dollars and may be a little higher now. It results in lots of people registering and paying their
State TAT and GET TAXES.
This bill will discourage people from registering and paying the annual fees.
