Aloha, My name is Linda Halbritter. My husband, who is a retired disabled police officer and I own
and operate is small TVR. We have lived in North Kohala for 45 years. We raised our 2 sons
here. They have had to move to the mainland for jobs, so we live here alone. Our only income is a
small pension and the moneys we make from our Vacation Rental, if you take our TVR away not only
will it hurt us it will also hurt the people I hire. My house keeper and yard man, not to mention the
moneys our guest spent in our little town of Hawi. The resturants, gift shops etc. will also suffer. We
pay a lot of taxes and fees on our TVR. I can't understand what is your reasoning for doing what you
are trying to do?? The county and feds will also be losing also. I am stronging opposed to Bill 47
. The financial burden you are trying force upon us is so stressful when we are only trying to survive
here in Hawaii in our home using our own property safely. Our guest love it here because they get the
real feeling of a true Hawaiian Experience. please stop intervering in our live in a negitive
