Subject: Bill 47 Testimony
Dear council members,
We are not okay with current legislation regarding Bill 47.
We need to wait with the impact economy study before we move forward on any Bill which has hefty fees
to registrate homes.
Why have everybody register and then do the laws afterward? That's unconstitutional and What else
should the people in Hilo do for work? Tourism is so big on this island.
Do you want all ppl depend on the government? Do you know how much taxes we are paying monthly?
All this revenue will die off! Lets wait with Bill 47 before we move forward and have that impact study
done first!
You know how many homes are empty in Hilo? Why not start there? Those houses are not generating
income!! But vacation rentals due!!
