What is the purpose of this bill? What do churches, temples, and community buildings have to do with existing zoning district regulations? These facilities that provide religious freedom to be exercised have been in Hawaii County for years, before many of us were even born. What is your motives that you would directly target our churches, and temples? This is clearly "over reach" by the county council to restrict religious freedom. It puts unwarranted regulations on our religious rights as declared by the US constitution. Please put your attention to the pressing problems of our county such as the overwhelming county budget which is unsustainable and will cause bankruptcy of the county. Or you could address the shameless neglect of the homeless, convict recover programs that separate families, and over burdening county taxes. I am asking you.again to please remove this bill form consideration immediately. I thank you for the opportunity to submit this testimony and for your attention to this matter which is my strong opposition to Bill 60.
