County Council,
I strongly oppose Bill 60. What is the intent of this bill? What do churches, temples and synagogues and community
buildings have to do with existing zoning district regulations? These facilities have been in Hawaii County for years
before many of you were born. What is your premise that you directly target our churches, temples and synagogues????
This is clearly blatant 'over reach" by the county council to restrict religious freedom and put unwarranted regulations
on our religious rights as declared by the US constitution. Please put your attention to the blaring problems of our
county such as the overwhelming county budget which is unsustainable, the homeless issue and over burdening county
taxes.
Please remove this bill for consideration immediately. Thank you for the opportunity to submit testimony and for your
consideration of this letter of opposition to Bill 60.
