Mr. Baptista is a resident of the Kohanaiki area in North Kona. <br />Kolt's strong academic record, leadership in athletics, dedication to community service, <br />and commitment to personal and cultural growth make him an outstanding representative for the <br />youth of North Kona. <br />Born and raised in our community, Kolt embodies the values of hard work, humility, and <br />service. He brings with him a well-rounded perspective shaped by his experiences in the <br />classroom, on the field, and through his contributions to local organizations and events. I am <br />confident he will serve with integrity and be a meaningful voice for his peers. <br />Please join me in welcoming Kolt to this important role, thank you in advance for placing <br />this communication on the next available Governmental Operations and External Affairs <br />committee agenda. <br />Be advised that Mr. Baptista's appointment replaces the position previously held by Ms. <br />Peyton Haleamau, with a term ending date of December 31, 2025.
