RESOLUTION NO. 23G 25
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION TO PURCHASE A 3D PRINTER FOR SIGNAGE.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Parks Maintenance Division
maintains inland parks, beach parks, playgrounds, ball fields, cemeteries, and other recreational
facilities, undertakes construction, repair, and renovation projects for buildings, equipment, and
grounds, and operates a storeroom for departmental maintenance supplies; and
WHEREAS, one of the goals of the Parks Maintenance Division is to provide the public
with safe repair and renovation projects for buildings, equipment, grounds and supported
landscaping and beautification projects; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds to purchase a
31) printer to create signage that supports the maintenance, safety, and beautification of various
recreational facilities; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 3 will be appropriated to the Department of
Parks and Recreation to purchase a 31) printer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii hereby
transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
