COUNTY OF HAWAM <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />STATE OF HAWAFI <br />24i 25 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF SECURITY <br />CAMERA SYSEMS TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAVI <br />DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. <br />WHEREAS, Blue Shield Security Hawaii is donating security camera systems to <br />the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation; and <br />WHEREAS, this donation, valued at approximately $4,500, will be installed at the <br />Pana`ewa Park and Covered Play Courts in Pana`ewa Hawaii; and <br />WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br />council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br />personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of <br />this donation; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I, , in <br />accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br />Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br />resolution be sent to Blue Shield Security Hawaii, Attn: Lon Apaka, 3049 Ualena Street, <br />Suite 715, Honolulu, HI 96819, acknowledging this generous donation. <br />
