COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24 <br />STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION <br />OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING <br />SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT. <br />WHEREAS, Resolution Number 154-25, approved by the Council of the County of <br />Hawaii on May 7, 2025, transferred an appropriation of $5,000 from Contingency Relief <br />funds to the Department of Liquor Control; and <br />WHEREAS, this appropriation was to be utilized to award a grant to Na Pulapula <br />Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for expenses relating to their Kea`au Family Fun <br />Day event; and <br />WHEREAS, the grant agreement with Na Pulapula Inc. could not be executed within <br />the required timeframe; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Liquor Control now wishes to transfer the <br />appropriation back to the County of Hawai`i's General Fund; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that <br />the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />MAR <br />$ 5,000.00 <br />1010-21-2513 9-53 0115 <br />Liquor Control/Public Programs <br />CREDITED TO: 1010-91-91104-550341 Sundry Refund <br />
