A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION
OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING
SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 154-25, approved by the Council of the County of
Hawaii on May 7, 2025, transferred an appropriation of $5,000 from Contingency Relief
funds to the Department of Liquor Control; and
WHEREAS, this appropriation was to be utilized to award a grant to Na Pulapula
Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for expenses relating to their Kea`au Family Fun
Day event; and
WHEREAS, the grant agreement with Na Pulapula Inc. could not be executed within
the required timeframe; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Liquor Control now wishes to transfer the
appropriation back to the County of Hawai`i's General Fund; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:
