Davis of Council District 6 to the Ka`u Community Development <br />Plan Action Committee <br />Aloha Council Chair Inaba and Council Members, <br />I am pleased to nominate Mr. Gary C. Davis of Council District 6 to the Ka'u Community <br />Development Plan Action Committee (KCDPAC). <br />A graduate of Kamehameha Schools Kap5lama, Gary has deep roots in our community and a <br />strong commitment to its future. After dedicating many years to the County of Hawaii's <br />Department of Environmental Management, he retired in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of <br />knowledge and experience. <br />Gary's passion for community service is evident through his active participation in local <br />initiatives. He has volunteered with organizations such as 'O Ka'u Kakou, The Food Basket, and <br />Vibrant Hawai'i, demonstrating his dedication to supporting and uplifting those around him. His <br />ongoing efforts reflect his genuine concern for the growth and well-being of Kau Island. <br />With a strong desire to contribute to the future of our community, Gary is eager to serve on the <br />KCDPAC. His commitment to enhancing the quality of life for all residents aligns perfectly with <br />the mission of the committee. <br />If confirmed, Mr. Davis's term will end on December 31, 2028.
