Dear Council Members,
I understand you will be voting this Friday on Bill 4250 - Paniolo Drive Sidev,alk
Improvements for Waikoloa. I want to thank you in advance for your prompi response to
this important issue. Every time I see a mother with a stroller or a 7 or S year o~d child
walking up Paniolo Drive in the street and around dangerous view obstruc-~ ' ;r, e-lined
curves, my heart just skips a beat. This street gets the majority of traffic sm,-- it is a main
street.
If it is at all possible we are hoping that work can begin as soon as possible o that the
sidewalks will be ready as close to the new school year as possible.
Just for clarification, will the new sidewalks extend from the Baptist church Juv-n past
Laie St. to Franklin Place? That is where the completed sidewalks currentlh' . d.
Once again, the members of the Waikoloa Elementary PTA and certainly ali she walkers,
joggers and parents want to thank you for concern and prompt action.
