Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. § 92-5(a)(4), we request attorney -client
confidential discussion, in executive session, to consult with the County Council on
questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and
liabilities regarding the above -referenced lawsuit Earthjustice attorneys David
Henkin and Elena Bryant filed on behalf of their client Plaintiff Hui Malama
Honokohau. -
We request this matter be placed on Councils August 6, 2025-agenda to
discuss matters requiring Council approval.
