COUNTY OF HAWAI`I <br />STATE OF HAWAI`I <br />RESOLUTION NO. 249 25 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO MOUNTAIN VIEW <br />ELEMENTARY PTA TO ASSIST WITH EXPENSES FOR THE MOUNTAIN VIEW <br />ELEMENTARY ALUMNI DINNER. <br />WHEREAS, Mountain View Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization <br />dedicated to supporting the welfare and education of children and promoting strong family - <br />school partnerships, advocating for student health and safety, and encouraging community <br />engagement; and <br />WHEREAS, Mountain View Elementary PTA is requesting funds to support the <br />Mountain View Elementary Alumni Dinner in celebrating its 120th Anniversary and assist with <br />its venue rental fees, which will serve a public purpose by benefiting, improving, or promoting <br />the interests of culture and the arts, as well as educational concerns; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that, in <br />accordance with section 2-139(a)(2)(C) of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as <br />amended), Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 are hereby transferred to the <br />Department of Liquor Control to provide a grant to Mountain View Elementary PTA for the <br />expenses and purposes identified in "Exhibit A," a copy of which is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein by reference, in the following amount as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $10,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.91 Clerk -Council SVC — Contingency Relief $10,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $10,000 <br />Public Programs <br />115 Misc.
