RE: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 51, Draft 2; an Ordinance Amending Chapter 4,
Article 3, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), Relating
to Animals.
Please see below a proposed amendment to Bill No. 51, Draft 2. The proposed amendment is
shown in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 51, Draft 2; material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored. A copy of the new
draft of this bill that would result if this proposed amendment were to be adopted is intentionally
omitted due to the limited scope of the proposed amendment.
SECTION 4 of Bill No. 51, Draft 2, is amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect [upmfi] one hundred eighty
days after its approval."
