Subject: DO NOT Move the Hawaii GP 2045 Forward! My testimony
Aloha,
I am a citizen of the Big Island of Hawaii and the United States of America. This new Hawaii General Plan 2045
is unconstitutional in my opinion. I and most likely any citizen of Hawaii and the USA would not willinly hand over it's land
and property. No way. Also the idea to not allow farming, living or agriculture on land is ludicrious. Grouping people into
areas without land is horrendous and this all borders on communisim and I dare say theft.
Peole have invested in their land for their families for generations and to attempt to take that away using "safety" as a
fear mongering technique is down right scandalous.
The people of Hawaii and the United States that have purchased their land should not and will not accept it simply being
taken away.
Using the guise of nature and conservation is such falsehood. You must allow people to farm, live and subside where they
choose. This is a FREEDOM. You must now lower peoples property values by creating "Parks and Conseervation" where
people already own land and are living. You must NOT allow anyone anyone at all to be able to seize land for ANY
REASON beyond the regular PURCHASE agreements between land, home and deed holder and the recipient of such
SALES trasactions between the rightful owners/deed holders/property owners and legal and acceptable terms. purchaser.
Anything else is siezure and unconstitutional. I DO NOT SUPPORT the "general plan" and neither do any of my friends
and neighbors. This must not go through as it currently reads.
