Dear Council,
Please OPPOSE Bill 51 regarding the criminalization of feeding Community cats, which are more
often than not people's abandoned pets because our $3 million/year budgeted Animal Control doesn't
do its job to either help people with spay/neuter programs nor EDUCATING the less educated of our
population to not just dump their cats when they breed and make more they can't afford to keep.
We have a real problem here on the island, but jailing old ladies with big hearts not wanting to watch
abandoned PETS suffer is not a solution nor ALOHA. If you pass this bill then you are all part of the -
soullessness brought to our islands by the mainlanders.
PLEASE OPPOSE BILL 51 and entreat our MORONIC HEAD of ANIMAL CONTROL (who you hired
just to get his wife to run the zoo), to get going on a spay/neuter program and EDUCATING OUR
PEOPLE on how to address pet ownership!!!
I beg you to remember your souls and not go for this EVIL solution planning to jail old ladies who dare
feed pet colonies made by our uneducated, under -served population!!
Entreat your overpriced, unexperienced head of the animal control to GET GOING on
IMPLEMENTING Spay/Neuter, Trap and release programs and EDUCATION for our populace. DO
NOT MAKE or Support a law intended to attack individuals out there just trying to alleviate the
suffering of dumped pets.
This Bill is NOT THE WAY!! NO ALOHA. NO TRUE SOLUTION in this proposed bill 51., just evil.
Don't be a part of arresting old ladies trying to alleviate the suffering of animals dumped by ignorance
and poverty!!! Support real solutions and FIRE Matt Runnels in animal control. We've had.enough of
this do nothing mainland former animal trainer!!
