Oppose Bill 51
am writingto express my opposition to the proposed Bill 51.1 am horrified that such a bill could even be
proposed by anyone. When cats are removed from an area the rats and mongoose then move in. Spay
and neuter programs are the most effective means of controlling feral cat populations. I encourage all of
you to contactthe national organization Alley Cat Allies which will clearly explain why such programs are
proven to be the most reliable way of handling this situation. The thought of criminalizing the activities of
humane community volunteers is shocking. Please be pono and vote against Bill 51.
