No. 389/Res. No. 244-25 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 244-25, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 244-25, transmitted by County Clerk Jon Henricks via Communication No. 389, <br />dated July 2, 2025, amends Section 3(b) Section 7.01(a) of Ordinance No. 25-39, the Salary <br />Ordinance of 2025, to establish an Operations Manager position within the Legislative Research <br />Branch. <br />County Clerk Jon Henricks was present in chambers and provided a detailed background and overview <br />on this matter. <br />Committee Member Dennis "Fresh" Onishi asked if this position would be an open recruitment. <br />Mr. Henricks replied that it would not and that he had a plan in place that would not disrupt the current <br />operations of the Legislative Research Branch. Mr. Onishi questioned this and the transparency, stating <br />that there has always been a process to follow that has been followed in the past, but in this matter <br />Mr. Henricks is asking the Council to trust him.
