No. 386/Res. No. 242-25 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 242-25, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 242-25, transmitted by Finance Director Diane Nakagawa via Communication <br />No. 386, dated July 3, 2025, transfers/appropriates and appropriation out and from the designated fund <br />account and crediting same to a designated fund account. <br />This resolution transfers $5,000 from the Liquor Control/Public Programs account to the Sundry Refund <br />account to return funds to the General Fund. <br />Finance Director Diane Nakagawa and Liquor Control Professional Trainee Nyssa Hatori were available <br />in chambers for questions. <br />Deputy County Clerk Aaron Brown stated that the Finance Department has informed them that there <br />will be an amendment to the account number in the resolution and department is working on it in <br />collaboration with the Legislative Research Branch and will submit it to the Council for consideration at <br />the next meeting. <br />Acting Committee Chair James Hustace asked for an overview of this matter.
