SUBJECT: Transmitting Bill No. 29, Draft 2; an Ordinance Amending Chapter 25,
Article 3,
Section 25-3-3, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, As Amended),
Relating to the Establishment of Zoning Districts.
Transmitted herewith is Bill No. 29, Draft 2.
During its meeting on July 22, 2025, the Policy Committee on Planning, Land Use, and
Economic Development amended Bill No. 29, with the contents of Communication No. 142.3,
resulting in the attached draft.
The Committee then recommended passage of Bill 29, as amended to Draft 2, at first reading.
