Subject: Oppose bill 51
Hi. I am a resident of Waimea and I wanted to write and express my concerns and opposition to bill 51. This bill is cruel
and doesn't get to the bottom of the issue. People feeding the cats are often ones who frequently trap the cats and spay
and neuter them. If you are going to prevent them from feeding stray animals, then the population is just going to get
worse. What this county actually needs is more funding for spay and neutering, Not barbaric and cruel bills such as this. I
oppose this Bill. I'm happy to be involved in some sort of committee to come with a more humane and effective solution.
