I oppose bill 51
Several groups are already collaborating with the DLNR and the Parks Department to address cat
overpopulation through Trap -Neuter -Return -Manage (TNRM) programs. I urge you -to support
TNRM and consider assisting the nonprofits actively working on this issue. Starvation of these
cats is not the solution. At the very least, please amend the bill to ensure that county -approved
caretakers participating in recognized programs are not in violation of the law.
