Subject: I Oppose Bill 51
I oppose Bill 51, which criminalizes the feeding of unowned cats on county land. I think more needs to be
done to get these homeless cats spayed, neutered, and relocated, but prosecuting the kind people who
try to care for these helpless animals in the meantime is not the solution. The people who dump their
pets in these places are the problem, not the compassionate, hardworking people who attempt to care
for these abandoned pets.
