We have an ineffective Humane Society, complaining humans and lack of resources to deal with it. So now the community is turning on the people who feed these cats. They are also the ones who trap, neuter & release the cats using their own time, money and resources because the county offers no help. And now, I understand, the government wants to arrest the cat feeders. Seems counterintuitive, doesn't it? Who else is even trying to deal with the issue? The county needs to step up and humanely deal with this problem ... and it is a problem. Resources need to be used to trap and humanely euthanize the cats. It is far better than letting them starve to death, a very painful way to die. I urge you to give the resources to humanely handle this problem ... and not arrest those of us who have the heart to feed starving animals. Thankyou c-, Alicemarie O'Neill c Waikoloa c - =c - v o -< n:C-, D' 11 jq Ref. DaieJUL- 8 2025, 1
