SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 243-25, Draft 2; A Resolution Authorizing the
Payment of Funds of Later Fiscal Years for an Extension of a Multi -Year Lease
Agreement for Real Property to be used by the Hawaii Police Department.
Transmitted herewith is Resolution No. 243-25, Draft 2. During its meeting on July 23, 2025, the
Council amended Resolution No. 243-25 with the contents of Communication No. 387.1,
resulting in the attached draft.
The Council then voted to suspend Rule No. 23-1(d) of the Rules of Procedure and Organization
of the Council, which requires the holdover of a substantively amended resolution on final
reading, and adopted Resolution No. 243-25, as amended to Draft 2.
