Subject: Testimony Bill 51
I am opposed to this bill 51 being passed. It is wrong and would be a death sentence to the feral cat population that so
many dedicated caregivers look after. It would make criminals out of people that are doing a Service to our community
by caring for, feeding and sterilizing the cat population.
Councilman Klienfelder has chosen to punish good citizens and render suffering to animals that are undeserving of this
treatment.
With all the problems facing our community, crime, gridlock traffic, poorly maintained roads and parks and THIS
Klienfelder is what you have chosen as your primary target for our community.
This bill 51 not only shows the ignorance of the individual who introduced it but the lack of empathy for the people who
have selflessly given of themselves to help maintain and control a population of unwanted animals and for the
defenseless animals themselves.
Shame on you councilman Klienfelder this bill 51 shows your true character you would have been better served to
advocate for a spay neuter bill that would help the animals and better serve our community
