This memorandum is in response to the request by Councilmember Matthew
Kaneali'i-Kleinfelder for monthly updates on runaways. The request was for
updates of the following information: the names of current runaways, the total
number to date for this year (2025), the total number to date for last year
(2024), and a cross-reference of repeat runaways. The requested data is
below.
The total number of current runaways: 4
The names of runaways with signed current media waivers:
Area I (Hilo, Hamakua and Puna)
