A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO ASSIST THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION WITH EXPENSES FOR THE 2025 HAWAIʻI INTERNATIONAL FUTSAL CUP.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation supports diverse recreation programs while collaborating with local and international organizations; and
WHEREAS, more than forty teams from Hawaiʻi Island, across the state, the mainland U.S., and Japan will be competing at the 2025 Hawaiʻi International Futsal Cup, which will be held
from August 15-17, 2025, in Hilo; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting assistance for the purchase of youth and adult participant shirts, which will help to outfit local and visiting teams while
creating a lasting memory; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation to assist
with expenses related to the 2025 Hawaiʻi International Futsal Cup.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:

is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
