RE: August 2025 PCPLUED Special Meeting Schedule
This memo suggests a pathway for the August 2025 special meetings of the Policy Committee on
Planning, Land Use, and Economic Development concerning the Draft General Plan 2045.
The Committee will accept public testimony during a special meeting scheduled for Wednesday,
August 20, 2025 at 5PM in the Kona Chambers, Hilo Chambers and on Zoom, with the goal of
reconvening on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 9AM in the Hilo Chambers, for a presentation by
Planning Department on the "Addressing Climate Change for Islandwide Health" section of the
Draft General Plan 2045 and deliberations.
