RESOLUTION NO.
(DRAFT 2)
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION
OUT AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING
SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 154-25, approved by the Council of the County of
Hawaii on May 7, 2025, transferred an appropriation of$5,000 from Contingency Relief
funds to the Department of Liquor Control; and
WHEREAS,this appropriation was to be utilized to award a grant to Na Pulapula
Inc., a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization, for expenses relating to their Kea`au Family Fun
Day event; and
WHEREAS,the grant agreement with Na Pulapula Inc. could not be executed within
the required timeframe; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Liquor Control now wishes to transfer the
appropriation back to the County of Hawai`i's General Fund; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I that
the following amount be and is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

AMOUNT OF
APPROPRIATION: $ 5,000.00
OUT AND FROM: 1010-21-25139-530115 Liquor Control/Public Programs
CREDITED TO: 1010-91-91124-550341 Sundry Refund
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit copies of this
resolution to the Office of the Management,the Department of Liquor Control, and the
Department of Finance.
