SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill No. 73; An Ordinance Amending Section
25-8-33 (City of Hilo Zone Map), Article 8, Chapter 25 (Zoning) of the
Hawaii County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), by Changing the
Zone Map Classification from Single -Family Residential - 15,000 Square
Feet (RS-15) to Single -Family Residential - 10,000 Square Feet (RS-10) at
Waiakea, South Hilo, Hawaii, Covered by Tax Map Key: 2-4-011:153.
Transmitted herewith is a proposed amendment to Bill No. 73. The proposed amendment is
shown below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Bill No. 73; material to be
deleted is bracketed and stricken, and material to be added is underscored.
Section 2 of Bill No. 73 is amended by amending Condition B to read as follows:
"B. Upon [approval of this Change efZ-e e,] issuance of Final Subdivision Approval,
the Planning Director shall formally revoke Ohana Dwelling Permit No. 86-0092
in writing."
Due to the limited scope of this proposed amendment, a copy of the new draft of this bill that
would result if it were adopted is not attached.
