SUBJECT: Presentation by the Department of Water Supply regarding its ongoing work on
the North Kohala water system
I respectfully request fifteen minutes on the appropriate committee's agenda scheduled for
September 2, 2025 for a presentation by the Department of Water Supply.
The purpose of this presentation is to provide an overview of the Department's North Kohala
system, insight into current and ongoing projects, and an update on the repairs and contingency
efforts following the recent well failure in North Kohala.
