Re: Nomination of Maci L. Wilson to the Board of Appeals
Aloha Council Chair Inaba and Council Members,
I am pleased to nominate Ms. Maci L. Wilson to the Board of Appeals. Ms. Wilson is a proud
2008 graduate of Waiakea High School and holds a bachelor's degree in business
administration with a focus in finance from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
Currently serving as the Administrator of Safety, Health, and Security at Hawaiian Electric, Ms.
Wilson possesses a strong professional background that will greatly benefit the Board of
Appeals. Her role demonstrates her commitment to safety and her ability to navigate complex
regulatory environments, skills that are essential for the responsibilities of the Board of Appeals.
As a local girl who is a devoted wife and mother of four, Ms. Wilson is deeply rooted in our
island community. She is eager to give back and support the growth and development of our
island through her service on the Board. Her dedication to fostering community well-being and
her passion for effective governance make her an excellent candidate for this role.
If confirmed, Ms. Wilson will serve a term to end on December 31, 2028. If you have any
