My name is Jade W. Herrera of Waipahu. I am kanaka'oiwi in support of RES. 234-25.
On May 9th, the BLNR REJECTED the FEIS submitted by the US Army. The US Army has NOT been
compliant with the lease conditions set by the BLNR or with state conservation zone regulations.
I strongly urge the council to pass this resolution and uphold the Hawaii State Supreme Court ruling to
"malama'aina". Please put an end to the desecration of Pohakuloa and the disrespect shown to our'aina
and our people.
