Relating to Pohakuloa Training Area
Hold the military accountable

• Many impact zones within the 132,000-acre PTA complex are now uninhabitable.

• Lied about DU -toxins detonated
• Lied about the testing of white phosphorus
• 2022 fires started at PTA, burned through DHHL lands, and charred over 10,000 acres
• Red Hill water is contaminated - lied and stalling about that.
• Kahoolawe- still not restored as promised
• 2014 The nondisclosure agreement between DHHL and the military to exchange lands at Puukapu for homesteads, "As with many of
the lands that have been conveyed to the department, complete disclosure of prior uses and the potential for ongoing issues have not
been shared as a condition of transfer."
• Offer relocation to those lessees who make such a request;
• In the meantime, you should exercise caution on your lot, especially when performing ground -disturbing activities." Kuhio Village was
constructed in 1975
• You willingly and with full knowledge allowed villages, agricultural, and pastoral areas to be built, knowing the dangers of unexplored

become "market -ready."
• Nuclear Weapons Testing: Historically, PTA was used for training and testing elements of nuclear weapons systems, such as the
Davy Crockett. Reports suggest that actual nuclear weapons were detonated at PTA.
• prepping for war with China in 2026, making us the # 1 direct target for retaliation
• Training of genocidal occupying forces:
• Yemen 400,000 dead
• Congo: 6 million dead
• Iraq 1 million, 500,000 children dead
• Sudan 15,000 dead
• Haiti 6000 dead
• Papua 500,000 dead
And now we have the live -streamed genocide happening in Palestine. Three hundred fifty thousand civilians were slaughtered, including over
35,000 children; over 90 percent of the homes, buildings, and infrastructure were destroyed, none of which could have been carried out without
US military support. The training for genocidal occupying forces and testing of combat -ready munitions are conducted by the US military, many
of whom train at the PTA complex.
Everything is alive with the same spark of keakua, and everything is connected to everything; that is the Essence of Aloha. Aloha must never
be compromised. Whether we're talking about the desecration of tens of thousands of acres of precious aina by imperialistic military endeavors,
the bombing to death of Kahoolawe, the poisoning of the drinking water, aquifer of 92,000 citizens on Oahu, training mercenary forces to
commit genocide across the planet, wholesale killing of abandon pets because its easier to kill them than find them homes, and now the
disappearing of our immigrant Ohana all of these things are happening on our moku. We can't expect to thrive on one hand and ignore the
cruelty and destruction on the other hand. Going against the essence of Aloha exacts a price we must never be willing to pay.
It's time to put an end to the madness.
