Subject: Support Resolution 234-25
Aloha Council Members,
Please accept this testimony in strong support of Resolution 234-25, urging the State of Hawaii to ensure
our health and safety by requesting the cessation of all bombing and similar desecration at the
Pohakuloa training area, along with other provisions.
I find it chilling and contradictory that, at the same time the County of Hawaii is considering Resolution
235 acknowledging the 80th anniversary of the horror of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and
recommitting to peace, we continue to tolerate the bombing of our own home, on sacred soil.
