Aloha Honorable Council Members,
My name is Susan RobertsEmery and I am the co chair for the Green Party of Hawai'i. We are writing
today to offer our Strong Support for Resolution 234-25. We also want to thank Tanya Yamanaka
Aynessazian, for bringing this Resolution forward. We know Tanyas courage and steadfast devotion to
the people of Hawai'i. The Green Party of Hawaii has put the Military leases at the top of our "to do list" ,
for community actions, testimony, and political will. The atrocities committed by the US Military, on the
Hawaii Islands, in the name of security, is beyond insane! The damage to the land, the air, the cutlural
sites, and the people who live near the Pbhakuloa Training Area is unrecoverable. At this point allwe can
do is stop the bleeding and clean up the past crimes.

Reject land swaps and lease renewals!

Conduct a full Ka Pa' akai analysis of PTA!

And last but not least a Full Clean up, restoration, and Bioremediation of PTA
It is time to make right, what we have allowed, to be wronged for decades! Ethical management of this
land is long overdue. It is past time to rewild the land and allow the Aina to heal.
The Green Party of Hawai'i asks that the Council pass this Resolution 234-25. We also ask thatyou allow
the community to help you to uphold this very Honorable stance, it is not easy to stand up to the Military
will.
