Subject: Bill 51- Oppose
Dear Council,
I strongly oppose Bill 51, eliminating the feeding of community cats on county land.
Not allowing feeding community cats is cruel and inhuman, particularly when the county is completely overwhelmed at
animal control to deal with the homeless cat population on this island.
Bad citizens regularly abandon unwanted animals at county locations and the county does not offer enough services to
deal with this issue while volunteers like myself use their own money and time to TNR and manage many of these cats.
Please do not pass this inhumane proposal.
