RE: OPERATING BUDGET
In the current Budget Ordinance 25-45, $50,537 is appropriated in the Police
Department's JAG-SRT Capability Enhancement Grant account. Additional federal
funds in the amount of $78,491 are being provided by the U.S. Department of Justice, for
funding to be used for training, travel, specialized gear and equipment.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these
additional funds into the Police Department's JAG-SRT Capability Enhancement Grant
account, bringing the total appropriation to $129,028.
