RE: OPERATING BUDGET
In the current Budget Ordinance 25-45, $96,360.00 is appropriated in the Police
Department's Improve Forensic Services account. Additional federal funds in the
amount of $23,640 are being provided by the U.S. Department of Justice, for funding to
purchase a new Gas Chromatography -Mass Spectrometry (GC -MS) instrument.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these
additional funds into the Police Department's Improve Forensic Services account,
bringing the total appropriation to $120,000.
