RE: AGREEMENT WITH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS PACIFIC
ISLAND HEALTH CARE SYSTEM (VAPIHCS)
Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Pacific Island Health Care System (VAPIHCS). The agreement is in the form of a Memorandum
of Understanding, which would establish working relationships with the Hawaii Police
Department on the coordination and responsibility concerning law enforcement, emergency
response, mutual aid, physical security, and requests for assistance for their Community Based
Outpatient Clinics (CBOC) in Hawaii County.
