No. 442Bill No. 76 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 76, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 76, transmitted by Housing Administrator Kehaulani M. Costa via Communication No. 442, <br />dated August 1, 2025, amends Ordinance No. 25-45, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County <br />of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. <br />This bill appropriates revenues in the Hawaii Community Foundation — Financial Empowerment <br />Services (Private) account ($125,000); and appropriates the same to the Hawaii Community Foundation <br />— Financial Empowerment Services — Program account. Funds would be used to provide no -cost <br />financial and homeownership counseling through a certified U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development counseling service provider. <br />Housing Administrator Kehaulani M. Costa provided background on this matter and a detailed overview <br />of the grant and its benefits to the community. <br />Committee Member Ashley L.
