Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 77, reports as follows:
Bill No. 77, transmitted by Housing Administrator Kehaulani M. Costa via Communication No. 443,
dated August 6, 2025, amends Ordinance No. 25-45, as amended, the Operating Budget for the
County of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026.
This bill increases revenues in the Fund Balance from Previous Year account ($350,000); and
appropriates the same to the Kulaimano Operating Maintenance account. Funds would be used for the
Kulaimano Elderly Housing Project for operating and maintenance activities.
Housing Administrator Kehaulani M. Costa was available for questions.
There was no discussion on the matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 77, and recommends its
passage on first reading.
